Quick find & replace

In most cases, we need to find another location where a keyword appears in the text. Instead of typing the keyword again and searching, we just need to use Shift + ← / → or Ctrl + D to select the keyword, then F3 jumps to its next occurrence, and Shift + F3 jumps to its previous occurrence. You can also select all the locations where they appear with Alt + F3 (you can then make multiple edits, that is, quick replacements).

Standard find & replace

Another common usage scenario is to search for a keyword that is known but not in the current display area, and you can use Ctrl + F to call up the search box to search:

For the average user, a regular keyword search can meet their needs: after entering a keyword in the search box, Enter jumps to the next position of the current cursor of the keyword, Shift + Enter jumps to the previous position, and Alt + Enter selects all the locations where it appears (again, it can be quickly replaced next).

There are different modes for Sublime Text search: Alt + C switch case sensitive (Case-sensitive) mode, Alt + W switch whole word matching (Whole matching) mode, in addition, Sublime Text also supports search within the selected range (Search in selection), this function does not have a corresponding shortcut key, but can be automatically enabled through the following configuration items.

"auto_find_in_selection": true

In this way, the search will automatically be enabled when the text is selected. With this feature, local renaming (Local Renaming) becomes very convenient:

Use Ctrl + H for standard replacement, enter the replacement content, replace the current keyword with Ctrl + Shift + H, and replace all matching keywords with Ctrl + Alt + Enter.

Regular expression find & replace

Regular expressions are a very powerful text search & replacement tool. Use Alt + R to toggle regular matching mode on / off in Sublime Text. Sublime Text uses the Perl regular expression style in Boost.

Multi-file search & replace

Use Ctrl + Shift + F to start multi-file search & replace (note that this shortcut conflicts with Sogou Input's simple and complex switching shortcut):
