There are five system databases in SqlServer. I don't pay much attention to writing code. I studied it on a whim today.

1. Master

Record all system-level information of the SQL Server system, such as login account information, linked server and system configuration settings, the existence of all other databases, the location of data files, initialization information of SQL Server, etc. If the master database is not available, SQL Server cannot be started.

2.msdb

Used for SQL Server agents to schedule alerts and jobs. The database performs certain operations, database mail, and so on regularly.

3.model

Used as a template for all databases created on the SQL Server instance. Changes made to the model database, such as database size, collation, recovery model, and other database options, are applied to all databases that are created later. Create a table in the model database, and each time you create the database, there will be a default same table.

4.tempdb

A workspace that holds temporary objects or intermediate result sets. A global resource that is available to all users connected to the SQL Server instance. Each time you start SQL Server, the tempdb is recreated.

5.resource

A read-only database that contains system objects included in SQL Server. System objects remain physically in the Resource database, but logically appear in the sys schema of each database. The physical file names of the Resource database are mssqlsystemresource.mdf and mssqlsystemresource.ldf. These files are located in:\ Program Files\ Microsoft SQL Server\ MSSQL10_50.\ MSSQL\ Binn\. Each SQL Server instance has a (and only) associated mssqlsystemresource.mdf file, and this file is not shared between instances
