1. Establish a virtual machine

Resource group: place the OVOC virtual machine in the resource group where SBC resides

Virtual machine name: define a name for the virtual machine as needed

Images: enter OVOC to find images in Azure Marketplace

Size: select a virtual machine template with more than 2 cores and more CPU,16G memory

User name: this user name is the user name that SSH enters OVOC in the future.

Password: need to comply with Azure password rules

Public inbound port: it is best to enter OVOC through the springboard in the resource group, or just open SSH port 22.

Magnetic disk

You can generally choose HDD according to your needs.

The network

Configure according to the company's network requirements (Web had better not be exposed to the public network)

Other options can be used by default. Create a virtual machine.

2. Basic configuration of OVOC

A. use the SSH tool to access the OVOC server (confirm that port 22 is open if accessed from the public network).

The password for the SSH login account is the account and password we entered just now when we set up the virtual machine.

Enter the OVOC root account

EmsServerManager enters the OVOC management interface

Check that all services are started.

B. establish a management account

Select 7 Security

Select Add OVOC user

Establish an OVOC web login user to log in to the OVOC server from a web page later

C. configure the time server (this step is required for voice quality monitoring)

Select Date & Time

Select NTP

Configure the NTP server

Do you want the OVOC to act as an NTP client?

OVOC extracts time from the NTP server as a NTP client

Enter NTP Server 1 IP address or domain name; enter the IP or domain name of the NTP server.

If there is a second NTP server, select y after add another NTP server

Are you sure that you want to continue after input? Select Y

Below you can see whether OVOC has successfully synchronized from the NTP server to the time.

Allow/Restrict access to NTP clients: Allow allows other devices to use OVOC as the NTP server.

Enter the time zone configuration and select the Asia/Hong_kong setting + 8 time zone.

The above completes the basic configuration of the OVOC server, and then you can enter the OVOC through Web to debug the device monitoring.
