You may still have questions about the existence of Windows Core OS, but now Microsoft officials have accidentally leaked new details of the unreleased operating system.

According to IT House, Windows Core OS is a stripped-down version of Windows, it is Windows 10X in Surface Neo, and it is also used in Surface Hub 2 HoloLens. Of course, it had planned to support Surface Phone "Andromeda", but then it changed and Microsoft turned to Android.

Unlike Windows 8, Windows Core OS is not touch-centric because it has a self-adaptive Shell for all shapes. Core OS is developed in a completely different way, interacting entirely with computing devices such as desktops, laptops, dual-screen devices, Surface Hub and Hololens.

The development of WCOS seems to be making some surprising updates to the old support documentation, which may lay the foundation for the modular operating system of Windows 10.

According to foreign media Windows latest, in the support document, Microsoft accidentally confirmed the desktop font support for Windows Core OS, and quickly modified the document to delete the reference to "WCOS" and future devices.

Microsoft noted in the document: "Please note that not all desktop fonts will be used in non-desktop versions of Windows 10, such as Xbox,HoloLens,Surface Hub, future WCOS devices, etc."
