Linux Network Startup problem: Device does not seem to be present solution

Virtual machine copies are often encountered during the entire virtual machine, but network configuration errors are encountered after the copy

Service network restart prompts the following error when starting the network:

Device does not seem to be present

Resolution steps

1. Ifconfig-a to view the current network card

2. Modify the network configuration file

Vi / etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

On the basis of the original file, modify the name of the network card to DEVICE=eth2

And delete the UUID and mac addresses.

3 、 mv ifcfg-eth0 ifcfg-eth2

4. Rm-rf / etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

5. Restart reboot

After the restart is complete, service network start starts successfully again!
