With the rapid development of new energy vehicles and intelligent driving technology, the complexity of the software itself is getting higher and higher, and the application scenarios are also complex and diverse. How to ensure the quality of the software is a serious challenge for us. As an important means of software quality assurance, software testing has been paid more and more attention by major vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. Jingwei Hengrun Center Laboratory passed the on-site audit of software testing capability expansion of China National Accreditation Committee for conformity Assessment (CNAS) in November 2018, and established a software testing system according to ISO26262, GB/T 15532 and other relevant testing standards, indicating that Jingwei Hengrun has the ability of testing consulting and testing services in accordance with functional safety (ISO26262) and ASPICE.

As an electronic and electrical standard of the automotive industry derived from IEC61508, ISO26262 stands at the height of the electronic system and the whole life cycle, co-ordinates the functional safety of the electronic and electrical system, and guides the implementation of the safety matters of the product life cycle in a systematic way. For software unit testing, Part 6 of ISO26262 standard gives a description of specific requirements, including testing prerequisites, testing requirements, recommended testing methods, work products and so on.

As a software process improvement and capability measurement in the automotive industry, ASPICE is developed from SPICE. It divides the process into three groups: the main life cycle process, the organizational life cycle process and the support life cycle process. The engineering process in ASPICE is mainly composed of system engineering and software engineering. We sort out the mapping relationship between ISO26262 and ASPICE according to the "V" model, so as to develop a solution that meets the requirements of functional safety and ASPICE in the stage of software development.

For unit testing, we divide the testing process into: test planning, test design and implementation, test execution, test summary.

The test planning phase corresponds to the functional safety requirements of 9.4.1-9.4.3 and ASPICE-SWE.4.BP1. Formulate the software unit verification strategy, including the regression strategy of re-verification when the software unit changes, and produce the test plan as the work result.

In the test design and implementation phase, according to the requirements of functional safety 9.4.4 and ASPICE-SWE.4.BP2, we formulate software unit verification standards, write test cases, and generate software test instructions and other work results.

In the test execution phase, according to the related requirements of functional safety 9.4.1-9.4.5 and ASPICE-SWE.4.BP3-BP6, the static and dynamic tests of software units are carried out according to the software unit verification strategy, and the work products such as software unit problem reports and software unit test records are output.

The test summary phase generates the test report according to the standard and delivers it to all interested parties.
