Ping tests the network by sending test packets to the target host to see if there is a response and count the response time.

The Ping program is designed using the original socket and ICMP. The function of makePingRequest () is to generate the ICMP request packet, the function of parsePingReply () is to parse the response packet sent back by the target host, and the function of elapsedTime () is to calculate the round-trip time of ICMP packets.
