First, close mysql.

$service mysqld stop

Second, mv the mysql directory under / data/mysql to the data directory.

$mv-R / data/mysql / data/mysql_new

Modify the mysql configuration file / etc/my.cnf. Change the path of datadir and socket to the / data/mysql_new directory.

[mysqld]

# datadir=/data/mysql-default path of the original system

Datadir=/data/mysql_new-existing path

# socket=/data/mysql/mysql.sock-the original socket path appears

Socket=/data/mysql_new/mysql.sock-existing path

Fourth, start mysql.

Service mysqld start
