Basic VPC configuration on AWS

First open the WEB control page, and then click-- Service-- VPC.

Go to the VPC control panel and click-- launch the VPC wizard

You can see that there are two options, one is VPC with a single public subnet, and the other is VPC with public and private subnets

If you select a VPC with a single subnet, only one subnet is created in the VPC, and this subnet is a public subnet and can be directly accessed with the Internet. All resources placed on the public subnet can directly access the Internet.

If you choose VPC with public network and private subnet, you have actually created two subnets, one public subnet and one private subnet. The public subnet can be directly interconnected with Internet. In principle, private subnets cannot access each other with Internet. (if you need to exchange visits, you need to deploy NAT on the public subnet) to communicate with the Internet through NAT.

Here I choose VPC with public network and private subnet click-select

Select default for NAT instance

Click-- create VPC when the configuration is complete

Check the private subnet routing table after creation-routes are automatically added after the VPC is created! (enable all EC2 instances within VPC to communicate with each other)-need to change the hyperlink in the routing table

Routes are automatically added for both public and private subnets

Click the routing table hyperlink of the private subnet to go to this page

You can click to add a new route (the default first route cannot be modified)

Subnet association option (the current subnet is associated with the current routing table)

Create a new routing table

Set the primary routing table, and all instances in the PVC will communicate with each other through the primary routing table (generally, the routing table where the private subnet is located will be set as the primary routing table! )

Configure the Internet gateway! (it does not need to be created by default, but the system creates it by default)

Detached status after the creation is completed.

Attach to VPC (default newly created VPC adds gateways by default! )
