Before Windows Server 2012, if we want to achieve dual network card binding on the server, we need to ask the server manufacturer for the corresponding software, but now the arrival of the powerful Windows Server 2012 makes us save all the trouble, because the operating system itself has the dual network card binding function, specifically how to achieve this function, the following we will use the experiment to explain for you:

Dual NIC binding has two main benefits:

1. Implement network fault tolerance: master mode and master mode

2. Bandwidth binding

Windows2012 R2 already comes with network card binding

But in the system, it's called NIC.

Here to note: do dual network card binding of the two cards to be clear about all the configuration. Right-click on the two cards and set IP V 4 and NDS to automatic acquisition.

Here we open Server Manager:

Click on local server:

Click NIC Combination, NIC is disabled by default, we manually enable it:

After opening the NIC combination we can see our two NIC cards, and then we click on the task:

Click New Group:

Here we name the group, select our two cards, and click on other properties:

Since we don't have switches, in teaming mode we select static teaming here and click OK:

OK, you can see our two network cards and the combination into one, below we open the network link:

From the above figure, we can also see that our two network cards have been successfully combined into one network card. Below, we will configure the IP of our combined network card tema1:

Right mouse button tema1:

This successfully binds the two network cards into a team, and then matches the fixed IP address and DNS on team1.
