Download virtual machine version 15.5.1

I downloaded the latest version directly from the official website so that I can install both Mac10.14 and Catalina. The previous version 15.0 failed to install Catalina. Install VM and wait for the installation to complete.

Download Unlocker3.0

Unlocker is a tool for unlocking virtual machines, and there is no Mac installation option without unlocking. Just run win-install and wait for it to finish.

Third, install the Mac system

Fourth, install tools

Tools is an extension of VM to enable full-screen systems in virtual machines and drag and drop files between physical machines.

Next, double-click the install VMware Tools icon. Next, follow the steps to install. Until the completion interface appears.

Fifth, make the installation image of macOS Catalina official version.

A .cdr or .iso file opens App Store on a Mac computer, searches for "Catalina" and downloads the macOS 10.15.1 Catalina installer

After the download is completed, in the "access" of Mac, open [applications]-- [Utilities]-- [Terminal]

Enter the following commands to complete the production of the macOS Catalina official installation image .cdr or .iso file.

Convert dmg image file to .cdr image file (VMware supports .cdr file installation, so you can directly copy the .cdr file to Windows system to install macOS 10.15.1 Catalina virtual machine) hdiutil convert / tmp/Catalina.dmg-format UDTO-o ~ / Desktop/Catalina.cdr# 6. Convert an image file in .cdr format to an image file in .iso format mv ~ / Desktop/Catalina.cdr ~ / Desktop/Catalina.iso

Copy Catalina.cdr or Catalina.iso to the hard disk of the computer where the macOS Catalina virtual machine is to be installed.

Sometimes during installation, you will be prompted that the copy of the macOS Mojave application is corrupted and cannot be used to install macOS.

Others are stuck in the Apple Logo interface during installation (it should be noted that this is caused by the low ordered VM version)

Solution: first, shut down the virtual machine; then, [Edit virtual machine settings]-- [options]-- [client operating system] change to [Microsoft Windows (W)]-- [version] Select [Window 10 x64]-- [OK]
