One Plus launched a smart phone in China. Novelty is a more affordable alternative to OnePlus Ace, which was released last month. The device has a different design, simpler specifications, but it uses the same eight-core MediaTek 8100 Max processor as the older model.

Instead of a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, the racing version uses a 6.59-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels (pixel density 401 ppi). It still offers 120Hz refresh rate support. For this purpose, six scanning modes are supported- 30/48/50/60/90/120 Hz. The novelty sensor speed is lower- 240 Hz instead of 720 Hz on the older model. The phone supports HyperBoost technology, which tries to make the device run games at a steady and constant frame per second rate.

The manufacturer claims that the racing version charges up to 80% in 29 minutes. The fingerprint sensor is located in the power button. Smartphones are equipped with USB Type-C 2.0 connectors.
