Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--

Cynex, a South Korean Enermax dealer, has recalled three new Liqmax III AIO liquid cooler models because impurities accumulated in the pump reduce coolant flow, thus weakening AIO's cooling capacity. The problem affects only certain batches, but it is not clear whether the affected batches have also been sold outside South Korea. However, the problem does sound familiar-the Liqtech I and II series are also known for clogging deposits and leaks with sticky pumps, leading to RMA.

South Korean dealers are processing the RMA process website for all affected coolers through the official enermaxkorea.com, which means it will only accept requests for products purchased in Korea. However, it is not clear whether the company is the only Korean distributor of Enermax products.

The models affected appear to be limited to specific batches, including Liqmax ARGB 360black and white variants and Liqmax III ARGB 240models. All black models with the first four digits "2012" and white models with "2119" may be affected. In addition, Liqmax III ARGB 240s that may be affected are marked "2012".

Cynex said the three models were most likely to have cooling problems and would replace existing devices, whether or not they currently show signs of cooling decline. These problems are caused by "impurities inside the radiator" during the manufacturing process, which can clog the pump and reduce the coolant flow. As a result, CPU cooling may be affected.

In the United States, Enermax's Liqmax III AIO cooler is one of the most competitive products at today's prices. For example, the 240mm sells for $70 to $80 on the Newegg.com, while the 360mm version sells for $85 to $90. This means that many value seekers in the United States may have bought these products, but as mentioned above, we are not sure whether any units in North America are affected.
