5. Can I transfer the remaining usage time of an ECS to another ECS?

6. How to query the destination of CVM IP address for ECS instance?

The region where the ECS instance purchased by the user is the region where the IP belongs, which can be queried through http://ip.taobao.com.

7. Does the CVM provide databases by default?

The CVM does not provide a database by default. You can:

Ali Cloud CVM is equipped with cloud shield service to defend against DDoS traffic attacks. When there is a network attack, Ali Cloud Monitoring system automatically detects and cleans abnormal traffic. If the attack volume is very large, Ariyun will do black hole processing to protect your ECS instance. For security reasons, it is recommended that you install your own protection software to close ports that are not commonly used.

Classic private network IP is generally used for communication between CVM, and between CVM and OSS, RDS (no public network IP is assigned to CVM with 0m bandwidth). Under normal use, IP will not change, and currently you cannot specify, select or purchase IP.

14. Does Ali Cloud ECS instance support installing keepalived to configure virtual VIP for load balancing?

Alibaba Cloud CVM does not support the purchase of IP separately, and cannot install and configure keepalived for load balancing. If you need to configure load balancer, you can purchase it directly and configure it.

15. Can the CVM perform load balancing?

Both Linux operating system CVM and Windows operating system CVM can achieve load balancing, but you must ensure that the configuration of Web CVM is consistent with the website code. An ECS instance under the same account can use load balancing. However, to ensure the load balancing effect, it is recommended that you use 2 or more ECS instances as load balancers.
