Huawei announced today that it will offer a cheaper smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT2e, for users embedded in its external systems. As the name implies, it is related to Watchman GT2, but it is not an heir. It is a slightly cheaper version with new colors, which ultimately means that users can use them more easily and can afford them. Many of the killer features of GT will return here.

You will see a 14-day battery life powered by a 455 Ma battery with a magnetic charger and a round AMOLED screen on the back. All are supported by Huawei HiSilicon Hi1132, 4GB flash memory, Bluetooth 5.1 connection. It can be used with iPhone running iOS 9 and later and Android phones running 4.4 and later.

As for the watch GT2 itself, the new champagne gold version is slightly updated.

Huawei also released a brand new Sound X speaker, a beautifully designed wireless speaker and the first by a Chinese company. Huawei developed the product in partnership with French audio brand Deevial et. It uses Deere Vianet's patented signal processing SAM (active speaker matching) technology and the iconic Push-Push symmetrical structure (essentially two speakers are placed symmetrically so that their vibrations cancel each other out, resulting in a relatively shock-free experience).

In addition to its design advantages, Huawei also brings Huawei shared products that can easily play music when using phones with EMUI 10.1s, such as the P40. You can also connect the speakers to the speakers using WiFi Direct and Bluetooth. Although Huawei said that Wi-Fi can bring lossless audio and less latency problems, Huawei Share was eventually recommended as the best way to connect.

The watch GT2e will be launched in April and will cost £199. Huawei plans to launch Sound X speakers in the early summer of 2020.
