steps are as follows

1. Create data configuration

Right-click on Data Adapters and Create Data Adapter

Select database jdbc connection

Fill in database connection information

Click Driver Classpath below to add mysql driver jar package

The jar package added by the author here is in the maven local repository. Readers can choose according to their own situation.

After adding, click Test to test whether the configuration is successful.

Successful means successful.

Click Finish to complete configuration

2. Add fields

Switch to Project Explorer view and click on the jrxml file

Right-click Dataset and Query under Outline

Select the database configuration you just selected

The left side will display all database information connected (only pay attention to the database used, others will not affect); the right side reads the required table field by writing sql

Click Read Fields to read the table fields

click OK

Database table field read complete
