After the installation of Exchange Server 2016 is completed, there will be a TEMP folder under the transport service directory. This folder is full and easy to cause the transport service to stop directly. The specific location is as follows (depending on the installation path, the directory may be different), as shown in the figure.

Generally, after this situation occurs, you can manually clean up the TEMP folder, or you can use scripts to clean it regularly, but there are three points to note:

1) Find out where the reason for the sharp increase of TEMP is, generally look at the log, if you can't solve it by looking at the log, you need to open the case;

2) Do a good job of monitoring to prevent the disk from being full again, causing the transmission service to stop. The monitoring method is generally SCOM or zabbix. If the disk space is less than 20%, the alarm will be given.

3) If you right-click to view the size of this directory, the default is 0KB, because there is no permission, so you need to seize power first, you can see the true size after seizing power; if the disk space is full, you will fail to seize power, this needs attention, be sure to monitor, disk space must not be full. If it was really full, he could only delete it.
