Installation of GRID

The Grid installation of 18.3 is basically the same as that of 12.2, so extract the installation package directly to the installation path and execute gridSetup:

Starting from 18, the installation of Database also follows the installation pattern of Grid. You need to extract the installation package directly to the installation path, and then execute runInstaller:

By looking at the status of afd, we can find that the owner of the afd driver is grid, the membership group is asmadmin, and other only has the permission of rx, while the current oracle does not belong to the asmadmin group, so the permission is insufficient. A simple solution is to add oracle to the asmadmin group, or modify the afd-driven group, such as oinstall (you can see the document ID 2314303.1).
