Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--
This article will explain in detail the example analysis of exchange2007 using POP3/SMTP protocol to send and receive email. The editor thinks it is very practical, so I share it with you for reference. I hope you can get something after reading this article.
In Exchange Server 2007, the Pop3 protocol is supported by default, and all we have to do is start "Microsoft Exchange POP3" in the service. Similarly, by default, POP3 logs in through "SecureLogin". So that's why we selected the SSL option in the advanced tab of Outlook Express (OE) when we introduced it above. Is there any way to cancel it? Here is the introduction:
1. View the settings for Pop3
Under the Exchange Management Shell, run Get-POPSettings. We can see the current POP3 settings.
LoginType: SecureLogin
two。 Modify Pop3 login settings
Under the Exchange Management Shell, run:
Set-PopSettings-Server "mail"-LoginType PlainTextLogin
Where "mail" is the mail server name
3. Restart the Pop3 service
Run Services.msc and find "Microsoft Exchange POP3" to restart.
At this point, the problem seems to be solved. Cancel the SSL option in Outlook Express (OE). Try to receive email and pass. Try to send a message to the Exchange group through. It seems that everything is done. However, when we send messages outside the group, that is, to other external domains, an error similar to the following occurs:
The message could not be sent because the server rejected one of the recipients. The rejected email address is "ldy@cctv.com". Subject 'Test', account:' FQNP', server: 'mail.fqnp.com', protocol: SMTP, server response:' 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay', port: 25, security (SSL): no, server error: 550, error number: 0x800CCC79
What's going on? Since it can be sent within the domain, why can't it be sent out? Combined with the settings of the send connector, it is associated with whether the corresponding settings should be made on the server.
4. Set up the receiving domain
Open the Exchange Management console: server configuration-"accept Domain -" create a new accepted domain.
Click "New", and then finish.
Then to the Outlook Express (OE) test, pass. Got it! In secure login mode, you can send external mail.
