In previous versions of Linux, if you modify the host name, you need to first set it with the command hostname, and then modify the / etc/hostname file. It is a bit troublesome to start with Linux7, as shown below:

[root@ip-172-31-29-22] # hostname

Ip-172-31-29-22.ap-northeast-1.compute.internal

[root@ip-172-31-29-22] #

[root@ip-172-31-29-22] # hostnamectl set-hostname aws [root @ ip-172-31-29-22] # hostname

Aws

[root@ip-172-31-29-22] # cat / etc/hostnameaws
