ConfigMgr Prerequisites Tool can help system administrators efficiently complete the installation and preparation of the prerequisites necessary to install and deploy the SCCM server Site Server and Site System Roles.

To put it simply, this tool can help you complete the installation and preparation of the necessary prerequisites when installing and deploying SCCM servers.

Brief introduction

The tool was last updated on January 4, 2019, and the tool and detailed instructions are available from the download link provided at the end of the article.

Starting from 3.0.0.0, support the preparation and installation of SCCM prerequisites for Configuration Manager 2012 and all subsequent versions:

Configuration Manager 2012 SP2Configuration Manager 2012 R2 SP1Configuration Manager Current Branch (all supported versions from Microsoft)

Running on Windows Server 2012 and all subsequent server systems is supported since 3.0.0.0:

Windows Server 2012Windows Server 2012 R2Windows Server 2016

Prerequisites for use

The PowerShell version of the Windows server system on which the tool is running is at least 4.0 or higher.

Check the PowerShell version of the Windows server system, run PS, and then enter: $PSVersiontable
