Design collaboration

Through the SView integrated control, the UG data of Jiangling Lear design department and the CATIA data of the outsourcing factory can be automatically converted into SVL format when uploading. Combined with the BOM structure of the PDM system, SView can call up a whole set of seat lightweight data, and realize the lightweight assembly between UG and CAITA. After the assembly is completed, the interference can be checked and analyzed directly in SView.

Browse measurement

The quality department receives quality inspection tasks from PDM. Without opening the CAD software, quality inspectors can also open and browse 3D and 2D drawings on their own computers to complete dimensional measurement, marking, cutting and other operations.

Lightweight Assembly and interference Inspection

The tasks of designing tooling, compiling process documents and designing assembly simulation are transferred from PDM to the process department. The technician measures the size of the assembly points in the model and designs the corresponding tooling according to the relevant measurement information. The designed tooling can be used for lightweight assembly, simulation and interference inspection in SView. The inspection results are used to guide the relevant adjustments, and the assembly simulation animation will be sent to the production workshop to guide the production assembly.

Drawing and document management

All the 2D drawings and documents in the system are converted to PDF format. In the assembly window, two-dimensional drawing browsing is added to avoid repeatedly opening multiple software.
