A new report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 could bring improved UDC or under-screen camera technology. This would be a significant improvement over the current iteration of the Galaxy Z Fold 3's underscreen camera.

The company is already using the equipment needed to produce OLED panels with second-generation UDC technology, users said on Naver's blog above (via).

As Samsung has not officially confirmed this, we recommend that you take this report with a grain of salt. Also, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 won't arrive until August 2022, so there could be a lot of changes between now and then. Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the first Samsung device to feature an under-display camera.

Although we're still some way from Samsung's fourth-generation foldable, we've found a lot of exciting information about the device. Recent leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 may miss the rumored S Pen slot. Samsung expects to conduct a final evaluation of the foldable product design by March 2022.
