On Thursday, at RR Auction, an auction house in Boston, a rare Apple-1 computer working properly was sold for $458711.25, including the buyer's premium.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is thought to have built about 200 Apple-1 computers, making them rare items for collectors.

The plane was rated as an episode of "Pawnstar" in early 2020 and was found to be an "amazing example" worth at least $500000. When RR Auction tried to sell the machine to Rick Harrison, a world-famous gold and silver pawnbroker, he rejected the offer.

According to RR Auction, this special Apple-1 was acquired by SoftWarehouse, a Michigan computer store, in the 1980s as part of the IBM machine deal. It is displayed in a box in the museum before it is stored.

These include original boards with Synertek CPU, Apple cascade interfaces, display cabinets, keyboard kits, power supplies, monitors and manuals. The starting price is set at $50,000.

Apple co-founder and engineer Steve Wozniak (Steve Wozniak) is believed to have built about 200 Apple-1 computers by hand. Steve Jobs and his company later sold about 175 products, 50 of which were ordered from the Byte Store in California.

This is not the first time Apple-1 has won a similar price at auction. In May 2019, another Apple-1 was sold at Christie's in London for about $471000.

In the second half of that year, an original Apple-1 manual sold at RR for $12956. About 65 original manuals are thought to exist, so there are fewer machines than packaging them.
