Recently in this machine (my computer) installed a Centos6.9 system to test, because the time problem did not consider too much to install a VMware9.0 on this machine, but later felt that there are many inconveniences in operation, thought of the company still has an ESXI, so thought of transferring the system to the ESXI platform.

After thinking about it, I thought of using V2V to achieve transfer, but I seem to vaguely remember that VMware has an upload function, so I want to test it. The details are as follows:

Right-click centos69 in vmware, select manage from the menu that appears, and then select upload.

Select the new server connection in the pop-up upload Virtual Server wizard dialog box.

Select NEXT to enter the server address, account number and password in the dialog box that appears.

First select NEXT to start uploading.

Upload complete.

What you can see on ESXI:

Start the server.
