In this way, as long as there are N-M+1 (31 in this case) nodes fail at different times, the integrity of the data can be guaranteed.

When any node fails, the system will immediately select another node to reconstruct the data of the failed node. In this example, as long as the reconstruction of the first failed node is completed, no other 30 nodes will fail one after another. It can ensure that the data will never be lost, that the nodes will monitor and check each other, and that if any node fails, it can quickly find and reconstruct the data of a failed node. It will be divided into many nodes and rebuilt at the same time to speed up the reconstruction.

For example, a fragment of 10,000 files is stored on the failure node, and it takes an average of 0.5 seconds to reconstruct a fragment (mainly network transmission time). 100 nodes are selected to participate in the reconstruction, and only 100 fragments need to be rebuilt for each node. An average of 50 seconds to complete the reconstruction. As long as no other 30 nodes of the same file fail at the same time within 50 seconds, the file data will not be lost due to good redundancy and geographically dispersed locations. Don't worry about hard disk damage, operation and maintenance errors of individual nodes (it was exposed in August 2018 that Tencent Cloud lost user data due to operation and maintenance errors), lightning weather (September 2018). Microsoft is not afraid of DDOS because the Azure service in some areas is down for more than 20 hours due to lightning strike, power outage, broken optical fiber, earthquake fire and other reasons, and data failure due to scattered nodes and good redundancy.
