The above settings are the same as those of traditional wireless routers, so let's start with the configuration specific to cloud routing: register the router with the mydlink cloud.

First: set up the mydlink account

Open the browser, enter the administrative address of D-Link DIR-605L: http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar, and enter the correct user name and password.

After ensuring that the internet settings and wireless settings are correct, you also need to click "Settings" to create a mydlink account.

If you already have a mydlink account, select "Yes, I have a mydlink account", enter the correct email address and password, if the previous mydlink account, choose "No, I need to register and log in to a new mydlink account", because I have not used cloud routing before, so I can only sign up for a new account.

Description:

Email: fill in the available email address as your mydlink account, it must be available, and the authentication email will be sent to this mailbox.

Password: the password of the mydlink account, not the email password.

Re-enter the password: confirm the password of the mydlink account once.

Name: it's just a sign here, it doesn't mean much.

Router user name: is the user name set on this router, and admin is used here.

Router password: is the password corresponding to the router user name, can not be wrong!

After the above information is confirmed, click "Register". At this point, you will be prompted that the configuration is in effect. Wait a moment and return to the home page of the administration interface.

As you can see, the authentication email has been sent to the email we just registered.

Second, activate the mydlink account.

Let's take a look at how to use computers to manage cloud routing at home through internet.

The computer in my unit is installed with Windows Server 2003 system, and the specific operations are as follows:

Open the browser, type: http://cn.mydlink.com, open the mydlink login page.

Enter the mydlink account and password we set up earlier, and click "Login".

The model of the router has been seen in this figure: DIR-605L, and the following small pair sign indicates that the router is connected. But this machine lacks JRE components, click "download JRE".

Check a user's online record: the first record is my computer at home. I'd like to see which websites this computer is currently visiting. Just click on the access history on the previous mini-computer.

Block a user from surfing the Internet: you can see 20 recent visits to the Internet. If you find an unhealthy website, you can prevent a user from surfing the Internet by clicking the block button after the user list, but don't forget to "apply".

At this point, the corresponding users can not surf the Internet, this function is very good, is called "cloud care" by Dlink. If you unblock it, click this button again and apply it!

Mail Notification function:

What if there are other wireless users surfing the Internet? How can I know in the first place that he will be "deported"? this can use the email notification function.

Setting method: click the Settings tab, select "connected New device" under "event Notification Settings", and then select a sending mailbox.

Note: this mailbox should not be the same as the mydlink account name mailbox. The reason is that when a new user connects, you need to send a message from this mailbox to the mydlink mailbox. These are two different mailboxes. It is recommended to use 163 mailbox here.

Once set up, click "Test Notification" to verify that the mailbox is configured correctly.

If you see the interface shown in the figure above, the mailbox settings are normal. And open the mydlink account email and you can see the test email.

After receiving the email, go back to the mydlink cloud management platform and don't forget to "apply".

Fifth, manage cloud routers through mobile phones

First of all: mydlink lite mobile phone client software needs to be installed.

Download mydlink_lite 2.40b5.ask from the location shown above, and click install when the download is complete.

Second: log in to mydlink lite
