Basically, the new feature allows users of the Swann complex security camera platform to see real-time video from home security cameras on their TV or mobile device. This innovation provides Swan customers who use Google as a smart home technology platform with a new layer of convenience, allowing them to watch live video at home or at the enterprise at any time with a voice command.

Mike Lucas, Swann's CEO, said in a statement: "Swann's team is excited to make it easier for customers to integrate into everyday life. "As consumers continue to add technology to their homes, ease of use is critical to ensuring a successful user experience.

Swan has been a pioneer in the security sector of the smart home technology market and has quickly introduced smart security systems, video doorbells, alarms and accessories to the retail market. To get started with the new Google Assistant features, users simply download Swann's Home Safety View app to their mobile device and pair it with Google Assistant. Voice commands can then be responded to from Google Assistant via the Google Assistant app or Google Home Speaker. From there, a user's Google Chromecast can recognize commands and stream video from a cable security camera to a smart TV.

Alex Talevski, Swann's chief technology officer, said: "Voice assistant integration is the top technology trend for 2018 in a variety of consumer electronics products, including home security. "While some wireless cameras already integrate voice, Swan is the first company to bring this technology to our market-leading wired multi-camera system. Wired systems are still more robust and secure than wireless systems, providing users with views of multiple cameras on their TV with simple voice commands.

Swan has opinions on the security of wired systems and wireless or broadband security systems. Earlier this year, a strange glitch occurred. Swan's wireless security camera sent a video from her home to a British woman. The problem is-it's just her home. Swan then contacted Digital Trends to acknowledge the incident and take corrective action.
