Along with the release of the AirTag anti-loss tracker, Apple quietly confirmed that the official version of the iOS 14.5 system is scheduled to be launched next week to support AirTag (ordered on April 23rd, available on April 30th, Bank of China 229 yuan per unit).

Similarly, in order to support Apple Podcast-related features, watchOS 7.4 and macOS 11.3 are also scheduled to become regular next week.

Before the deadline, RC candidate versions iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, macOS Big Sur 11.3, watchOS 7.4, tvOS 14.5 have been updated and downloaded.

IOS 14.5 is the biggest upgrade since the release of iOS 14 last year, including support for Apple Watch close to unlocking iPhone, global 5G dual SIM card support for iPhone 12, PS5/Xbox Series X support handle, a variety of new Siri timbre, and so on.

Of course, another big change in iOS 14.5 is the strong privacy policy, in which all APP tracking activities must be approved by users in advance, and APP that privately collects user data for portraits or precise advertising is no longer allowed to be submitted to App Store.
