Erlang OTP is a compiled environment for RabbitMq. To use RabbitMq, you must first install Erlang OTP.

1. Download the esl-erlang_19.3 version at https://www.erlang-solutions.com/resources/download.html

7. Start configuring environment variables and enter the environment variable configuration interface, as shown in the following figure:

8. Start adding the environment variable, add the system variable name ERLANG_HOME, and its value is its installation directory (D:\ Program Files\ erl8.3), as shown in the following figure:

9. Add the environment variable ERLANG_HOME to path (note: at the end, be sure to be separated by an English semicolon), as shown in the following figure:

10. Verify that Erlang OTP is installed successfully, reopen the cmd window, and enter: erl. If the version number of Erlang is displayed, the installation is successful, as shown in the following figure:

At this point, the Erlang OTP installation is complete!
