Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

Not long ago, I discussed the issue of Dorin synchronization with a friend, and I also said that I would set up a test environment to test. Today, we finally set up a test environment to test how to synchronize two unrelated AD forests to the same Office365 subscription.

First of all, I applied for an Office365 subscription as a test premise.

Add and-sc.com and scnbwy.com domain names to Office365 at the same time

Then create two unrelated AD forests on my local machine

Scnbwy.com forest creation

And-sc.com forest creation

Then download and install AAD Connect on both AD servers and configure Sync with the same Office365 subscription.

Deploy AAD Connect in the scnbwy forest and connect to the Office365 you just applied for

Resolve to local AD forest directory

Domain names added to Office365 have been resolved and matched

Then select synchronous OU and features to configure

Then synchronize the flow to complete the synchronization

Check the log together with OK

Log in to Office365 and find that local users have been synchronized to Office365 Azure AD

Next, deploy AAD Connect in the and-sc forest and connect to the same Office365 subscription

Resolve to the forest directory of the local and-sc.com

Also successfully matched the and-sc.com domain name added in Office365.

Also choose to synchronize OU, and functions, and finally complete the synchronization

At this time, log in to Office365 Admin Center to view the active users and find that the users in the and-sc forest have migrated synchronously.

At this time, it can be found that there are two On-Premises Directory Synchronization Service Account accounts in Office365 Admin Center, corresponding to DCSV and DVSVR logo, and the local system is the name of the AAD Connect server installed.

So, Dorin's AD Sync doesn't seem to be that complicated.
