By default, when the network interface in the Zabbix template automatically discovers the interface, it will generate a lot of item, and sometimes there will be some interfaces that we don't need, so we need to filter them out. For example, the following figure:

Here we only want to monitor the eth0-3 Nic on the server. When other cal and other initial ones are not needed, we can set them as follows:

First of all: set-"General -" Select regular expression

When we are done, we create a regular expression named: Network interface discovery2-the condition of the expression is shown in the following figure ^ XXX represents a name that begins with XX.

After completing the update, we select the expression configuration we just created in the filter for automatically discovering the Nic in the template:

By updating, we can filter out the network card information that we do not want when the network card is automatically discovered.
