Under normal circumstances, when we install Office 365 Pro, we will check whether there are other versions of Office components in the environment, but we do not know how customers push the installation of Office 365 Pro under what circumstances. A strange thing has happened, many users can not open their updated Office files, uninstall Office 2010 version failed.

After receiving this problem, it is speculated that there are multiple Office versions installed in the laptop of end user, which leads to registry entries confusion, failure to uninstall Office 2010, and failure to access Office documents properly.

Customers are advised to check the end users Office 2010 version:

Office 2010 SP2Office 2010 SP1Office Professional Plus 2010Office Standard 2010

Then download the image from Microsoft Download center and select repair to repair Office 2010. After the repair is successful, uninstall the Office 2010 software and restart Laptop to make sure that the physical files of Office 2010 are empty.

After the above process is correct, redeploy Office 365 Pro, reconfigure the Outlook account, and retrieve mail item from the server.
