Cook tweeted that Apple has paid more than $50 billion to developers since the launch of the App Store in 2008, setting another milestone when its revenue reached a new high in July.

Cook did not explain why App Store revenue reached the skyline in July, an achievement that some analysts attribute to GO (Pokemon Go). Pokemon is jointly produced and developed by Nintendo, Pok é mon and Google Niantic Labs, and catching elves has triggered a continuous craze around the world.

I have to say that App Store is an industry benchmark in terms of application quality and quantity, and it seems that we have accidentally found a major reason to start with iPhone 7.
