Problems to pay attention to when installing rac

1. Virtual machine add shared disk

1) create a disk

Under the installation directory of the virtual machine software, there is a vmware-vdiskmanager.exe file (the old version uses plainmaker.exe), and run this command:

D:/Program files/VMware/VMware Workstation > vmware-vdiskmanager.exe-c-s 20000MB-a lsilogic-t 2 d:/share/sharedisk.vmdk

The above command generates a 20GB disk under the share folder of disk D, with two files:

Sharedisk-flat.vmdk

Sharedisk.vmdk

2) Open the vmx file in the directory of the two virtual machines, and add:

Scsi2:0.shared= "TRUE"

Disk.locking= "FALSE"

Scsi2:0.SharedBus= "Virtual"

3) if the scsi_id-u-g / dev/sdb command does not return a value, add to the virtual machine

Disk.EnableUUID = "TRUE"

2.asm disks are created with udev. Disks created without installation of asm and asmlib,udev do not need to be formatted into a file system, otherwise they cannot be used.

3. Generally, when installing grid software, you can't find two nodes. Generally, the ssh mutual trust is not set up.

Check that the ssh is mutual, knowhost is empty, log in to the two nodes and the knowhost file has content.

Both oracle users and grid users need to establish mutual trust.

$ssh rac1

$ssh rac2

4./etc/hosts, to configure ip,vip and privateip

5. Install the cvuqdisk package

Under the grid installation package directory, rpm-Uvh cvuqdisk*

6. Create users and groups, pay attention to the permissions and groups of oracle and grid users

7. When configuring ntp time synchronization, a network card of the virtual machine rac1 should be configured in NAT mode, and the ip can be automatically obtained by DHCP before it can be connected to the external network.

The ip of rac1 is configured in the ntp.config of rac2 to start the ntp service.

The / etc/resolv.conf files of the two nodes should be consistent.

9. After installing grid, go to grid users to configure asm disk groups

After creating the disk, you must see that all the disks are mounted. And all the asm instances under the first column are started.

14. When installing grid software and oracle software, the final root.sh script is executed on both nodes, one is finished, and then the other node is executed.

At this point,. / crs_stat-t-v can see the status of the two nodes. If you only execute root.sh on rac1, when you view the cluster status, you will not see the rac2 node.

1) gi home directory or its subdirectories have incorrect permissions

2) incorrect permissions of asm disk

4) asm diskgroup resource is not online

5) the permission error of oracle user

6) permission error of oracle ($ORACLE_HOME/bin) executable file

$cd / u01/app/oracle/11.2.0/db_1/bin/oracle

[root@rac01 bin] # ls-ltr oracle

16. Copy the listening file on rac1 to rac2, modify ip, and start rac2 snooping

$lsnrctl start

View cluster snooping

. / srvctl status listener

17. Cluster restart

The disk should be set to boot and mount automatically, the system disk.

Cluster downtime

. / crsctl stop cluster-all

At this time, it may be reported that [crs-4000] rac2 did not respond within the specified time.

Start the cluster on rac1. / crsctl start cluster-all

Still reported that [crs-4000] rac2 did not respond within the specified time.

But two hours later, when looking at the cluster status,. / crs_stat-t-v is normal, and you can see two nodes online.

Shut down the cluster again, successfully shutting down two nodes

Start the cluster again and successfully online two nodes.

The cause of this incident is unknown, and it may be due to the shortage of virtual machine resources.

18. View the status of cluster resources

/ crsctl stat res-t-init

Generally speaking, all resources are online, only ora.diskmon is offline, but this resource is in exadata environment, so don't worry about it.

19. View disk group

Under grid users

$asmcmd

Lsdg displays disk status

$. / ocrcheck inspection verdict

20. View various logs and their paths

Alert log $ORACLE_BASE/diag/rdbms/orcl/orcl1/trace/alertorcl1.log under oracle

Alert log $ORACLE_HOME/log/rac1/alertrac1.log under grid

Css's log $ORACLE_HOME/log/rac1/cssd/cssd.log ocssd.log

Crs's log $ORACLE_HOME/log/rac1/crsd/crsd.log

Ohas's log $ORACLE_HOME/log/rac1/ohasd/ohasd.log

Evm's log $ORACLE_HOME/log/rac1/evmd/evmd.log

Dbca's log $ORACLE_BASE/cfgtoollogs/dbca

21. Check ACFS driver status

$. / acfsdriverstate version

ACFS-9129:ADVM/ACFS NOT INSTALLED.

To install $. / acfsroot install

ACFS-9348 unable to remove'/ etc/udev/rules.d/55-usm.rules'

After checking, actually does not have this file, then go to this path to create an empty file with the same name, install through.

Start the ACFS service. / acfsload start-s
