Step 4. Create a system management container

Note: do the following as a local administrator on the Active Directory domain controller server (AD01)

Open ADSI Edit, click Action, then click Connect To and click Ok, double-click the default naming context and the DC = djclouds** displayed below it. Click > and scroll down to CN = System. Right-click CN = System and select New,Object

Select Container from the options and click Next

Enter System Management as the value

Click Next, and then click Finish.

Step 5. Delegate permissions

Note: do the following as a local administrator on the Active Directory domain controller server (AD01)

Turn on the Active Directory user and computer. Click the view and select Advanced Features. Select system Management

Right-click the system Administration container and select all tasks and delegate Control

When the Welcome to the Control delegation Wizard appears, click next, and then click add. Click the object type and select the computer. Type the Configuration Manager server name (CM16), and then click check name, which should resolve. Click OK

Click next, then select create custom task delegation, and then click next, make sure that this folder, existing objects in this folder, and creating new objects in this folder are selected

Click next, select 3 permissions to select a specific sub-object's general, property-specific and create-delete, and then select the check mark in full control

Tip: repeat the above process for each site server installed in the hierarchy
