Problem description:

V7 WX3520H cooperates with WA4320i-ACN-SI for local forwarding, and portal is configured in the service template, that is, the portal scheme with centralized authentication for local forwarding is adopted.

When the customer is in use, it is found that the http page redirection of the terminal under AP is normal, and the https page redirection is abnormal.

Cause analysis:

V7 now supports redirection of https pages. No additional configuration is required by default. When forwarding is centralized, this function is normal.

There is a slight difference in local forwarding. Local forwarding centralized authentication is redirected by AP, because https redirection requires higher memory resources.

Https redirection is not supported when forwarding AP locally in 128m memory.

AP redirection is supported for local forwarding of 256m and above memory.

Solution:

Can you communicate with the customer on site without using the https redirect function, because most of the regular business can be satisfied by redirecting the HTTP? if the customer does not agree, you can consider changing it to centralized forwarding and redirect by AC.
