How to disable automatic restart in Windows 10 when the system failure, many novices are not very clear about this, in order to help you solve this problem, the following editor will explain in detail for you, people with this need can come to learn, I hope you can gain something.

When the Windows operating system encounters a serious error, the system throws a blue screen panic (BSOD). The Blue Screen of Death then throws the error code in the lower left area and restarts the computer. This error is mainly due to the fact that some internal system processes or files have stopped working as expected. Sometimes the DLL or dynamic link library file fails or any critical process within the system returns an error. Then, in this case, many times the task that the user is currently performing is forced to leave and shut down by the system. This means that users have lost unsaved work on their computers. Therefore, to solve this problem, we need to disable automatic restart.

Disable automatic restart in case of system failure

A new pop-up window will now open. Under the system failure section, uncheck the option marked automatic restart.

Restart the computer immediately for the changes to take effect.

Click Yes to get the UAC prompt you got.

Now navigate to the following key locations within the Registry Editor

Select CrashControl in the left pane, then double-click AutoReboot in the right pane.

Now, a new mini window will pop up. In the Numeric data field, enter a value of 0 (ZERO). Click OK.
