Tests on CISC machines show that the frequency of various instructions is quite different, and the most common instructions are some relatively simple instructions, which account for only 20% of the total instructions, but the frequency that appears in the program accounts for 80%.

In other words, under the same frequency, the performance of CPU with RISC architecture is much higher than that of CISC architecture, which is determined by the technical characteristics of CPU.
The CPU of this instruction system is widely used in high-end servers, especially the CPU of RISC instruction system is adopted in all high-end servers.
RISC instruction system is more suitable for high-end server operating system UNIX,Linux also belongs to the operating system similar to UNIX. The RISC CPU is incompatible with Intel and AMD's CPU in both software and hardware.

3. VLIW processor
