CentOS7 install VMware Tools

Install dependency packages

[root@localhost ~] # yum-y install perl gcc gcc-c++ make cmake kernel kernel-headers kernel-devel net-tools

Load vmware tools to CentOS7 optical drive CD-ROM

[root@localhost] # cp / mnt/cdrom/VMwareTools- 10.0. 5-3228253 .tar.gz ~

Unmount

[root@localhost ~] # umount / dev/cdrom

Extract the installation package

[root@localhost] # tar-zxvf VMwareTools- 10.0. 5-3228253 .tar.gz

Install VMware Tools

> enter the decompressed source code directory [root@localhost ~] # cd vmware-tools-distrib/ > run the `vmware- install.pl` file [root@localhost vmware-tools-distrib] # / vmware-install.pl
