Lab preparation: a virtual machine with Windows 2008 R2 system installed

The steps of the experiment:

one。 Install IIS

1. Open Server Manager-add roles

two。 Next step

3. Check "WEB Server (IIS)"-- next step  

two。 Create a site

Open IIS-- website-right add site-add site name-specify site path-hostname (site bound domain name)-OK

2.2 after the site has been created, bind the host file for testing (Note: the bound domain name here is only a test domain name and cannot be resolved), open the hosts file in the C:\ Windows\ System32\ drivers\ etc directory, and bind www.demo.com to ip as the local server (note: for testing use, binding host is only valid for the current server, and bind your own domain name in the actual application. And the resolution points to the server ip, which needs to be registered before it can be accessed.

Open the created site-the default document sets the default home page (a test page index.html has been placed in the site directory and is in the default document list). If the name of the home page is not in this list, click on the right to add the home page.

Open a browser for access testing.
