Modular data center is to cope with the changes of cloud computing, virtualization, centralization, high density and other servers, improve the operational efficiency of the data center, reduce energy consumption, and achieve rapid expansion without affecting each other. Construction of traditional computer room:
The traditional computer room generally uses industrial air conditioning to cool the whole space of the computer room, or uses precision air conditioning to supply air under the floor. The first way is because there is no distinction between hot and cold channels, the refrigeration efficiency is low; the second way can only be considered when the net height of the computer room is relatively abundant, so there are also requirements for the computer room.

3. High energy consumption
The operation of the huge power loss data center requires a lot of power. The traditional construction does not take into account the problems of power consumption, refrigeration and air flow management. The PUE (PowerUsageEffectiveness) of many data centers is on the high side, using environmental power equipment with high reliability in the conventional sense, but these equipment are often inefficient, and the PUE of the data center is above 2.0 or even higher. This means that about half of the energy used by the data center is consumed on IT loads and the other half on network critical physical infrastructure, including power supplies, cooling, and lighting.
4. It is difficult to operate and maintain the computer room.
IT operation and maintenance staff are facing many problems and are stuck in the predicament of low service quality: extensive operation and maintenance, the resource account is not clear; coupled with the alternation of operation and maintenance personnel, the operation and maintenance personnel do not understand all IT resources, let alone management; lack of unified service interface personnel, fault response and fault handling tracking confusion The optimization of system operation and maintenance requires IT personnel to accumulate a large number of data and reports to draw conclusions, but the daily IT operation and maintenance management is difficult to effectively count these data.
Modular computer room:
The biggest difference between the modular computer room and the traditional computer room is that it can maximize the use of cooling power to dissipate heat for the equipment. Because it adopts the closed cold channel mode, the cold air is isolated from the hot air, and the overall refrigeration efficiency is improved; the air conditioner and the IT cabinet are placed side by side at intervals, and the horizontal air supply air of the air conditioner is used to blow cold air directly to the cabinet to meet its heat dissipation needs, reduce energy consumption by more than 30%, and save a lot of operating costs for customers. Secondly, the modular computer room can be deployed quickly. Because it completes the pre-installation of the cabinet before leaving the factory, the site only needs to turn on the external power supply, fix the cabinet and other simple operations can be used.
1. Speed up deployment and shorten the construction cycle
The micro-module data center can speed up the planning and design, and the system structure can be configured in a reasonable way according to the design goal, and the batch production of micro-module can realize spot supply, thus improving the delivery speed; standardized connection mode can reduce the workload of on-site configuration and connection, and speed up installation speed. The construction cycle of micro-module data center can be greatly shortened. The implementation phase of traditional data center needs from July to August, and the construction of micro-module can be shortened to 2-3 months.
2. Expand and build by stages
With the micro-module architecture, the data center can be gradually increased, so that from one micro-module to dozens of micro-modules can be built in stages according to the demand.
