Installation of zabbix agentd-Linux, Windows

2.windows

a. Copy bin\ win32\ zabbix_agentd.exe and misc/conf/zabbix_agentd.conf and files to the C:\ Program Files\ zabbix directory

b. Edit the copied zabbix_agentd.conf file as shown below

IP address of the Server=127.0.0.1 ← ZABBIX server

Host name of Hostname=localhost ← ZABBIX agentd

ListenIP=127.0.0.1 ← ListenIP address (to be the same as set on the monitoring object server)

LogFile=C:\ Program Files\ zabbix\ zabbix_agentd.log

c. Register zabbix_agentd as a windows service by executing the following command.

C:\ Program Files\ zabbix > zabbix_agentd-- config "C:\ Program Files\ zabbix\ zabbix_agentd.conf-- install

d. Start the zabbix_agentd service

C:\ Program Files\ zabbix > zabbix_agentd start

e. Check the status of ZabbixAgent in windows's system service list, and normally you will see that ZabbixAgent already exists in the system service and starts automatically.
