For traditional computers, it is true that they need to be installed and maintained one by one after a failure, but it is different after using the cloud classroom. The operating system and data running on the desktop are run and managed on the back-end server and the teacher's computer. When the student desktop fails, it can be maintained only by operating on the server or the teacher's computer. There is no need for maintenance and inspection.

Secondly, it is more convenient to manage. After using the cloud classroom, it is more convenient to manage and maintain all the data and teaching resources together. That is, when we use the cloud classroom, we can control each student's computer desktop at any time through the teacher's computer, carry out video broadcasting, carry out online teaching and one-click distribution of homework, and conduct online examinations.

The third desktop is more concise. Another difference between the cloud classroom and the traditional computer room is the hardware configuration. The traditional computer room is all made up of bulky desktops and computers. It not only takes up space, but also generates a lot of heat and noise. The cloud classroom is mainly composed of servers, teachers' computers and cloud terminals. The servers are placed in a special computer room, and the cloud terminals can be hung directly behind the monitor, making our desktops more concise because they do not take up space and are more convenient for cleaning after class.

The fourth cost is more cost-saving. The cost savings here do not mean the procurement cost savings, because the early procurement cost of our school when deploying cloud classrooms is not much cheaper than the purchase of PC. Because the previous desktop computers are now replaced by cloud terminals, the power consumption of cloud terminals is only 5W, which makes our electricity cost reduced a lot. A Yulongyun classroom with 50 users can save about 18000 of electricity costs every year.

Fifth, switching is faster. In the past, when using the traditional PC computer room for class, you usually need to deploy the teaching environment a few days in advance. If you want to use it next time, you need to redeploy it a few days in advance, which is very inconvenient, so the traditional computer room was basically used only a few times a semester. After using the cloud classroom, we can install teaching templates for different grades and courses on the server and teacher's computer in advance, no matter what is needed, we can quickly switch the teaching environment for use.

The sixth disadvantage analysis, talking about the advantages of such a cloud classroom, is it that it does not have any disadvantages? I think the disadvantage of the cloud classroom compared with the traditional computer room is that if the server fails, all the student desktops cannot be used properly, and if you have to deal with large-scale 3D design, then the performance is still not comparable to the previous desktop computers.

Of course, the failure rate of the server in the cloud classroom is still very low, and 3D is basically not used in our school, so it is quite satisfactory for the cloud classroom at present.
