Nessus 8.4.0 Installation and Use

1.1 Go to Nessus website https://www.tenable.com to download the latest installation package.

1.2 Click on downloads to go to nessus page.

1.3 Select the corresponding software package according to the operating system of your computer (windows 7 is an example)

1.4 Install the corresponding installation package and check the installation progress

2.1 Install Nessus software and click Run

2.7 When installation is complete, finish appears.

3.3 You can return to the 1.2 page in the browser and select the activation code required.

4.1 After installation, vulnerability scanning can be performed, select New Scan

4.2 Select Advanced Scan or Web-based Scan.

4.3 You only need to know the scanned IP to scan
