Installation

If you download the official binary package directly, you can visit the https://www.elastic.co/downloads/logstash page to find the corresponding operating system and version, and click download. However, it is more recommended to use a software repository to complete the installation.

Installation

If you have to run Logstash on some very old operating systems, you'll have to deploy it with a source code package, and remember to install Java yourself in advance:

Yum install java-1.8.0-openjdkexport JAVA_HOME=/usr/java

The two main platforms for the configuration of the software repository are as follows:

Debian platform

Wget-O-http://packages.elasticsearch.org/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch | apt-key add-cat > > / etc/apt/sources.list
