Recently encountered a strange problem, server folder sharing, although it has been set up before, there is a precedent, but I would like to mention here, on the one hand, to consolidate my understanding of this piece, and on the other hand, to facilitate future search.

Server server 2008 sets up users to log in to the shared folder:

Create the new file demo as the shared parent folder: (do not look at the "pit" if you do not encounter a problem)

Steps to establish a share:

Step 1: right-click the folder (demo attribute)-> share-- ↓

Sharing: you can directly set up to add a specified account to access this folder

4. Local user

Users can be added; users can be divided into groups for unified management

* pit careful one: user name, full name, description should not be in Chinese *

Default security settings need to be set

First open [run] the program; enter 'CMD';' while running and then enter 'secpol.msc', above to open the "Local Security Settings" command Local Policy-- > user Rights configuration-- > deny access to this computer from the network-- > right-click to delete guest and related.

6. Enable password protection for network sharing

Server server 2008 sets users to log in to the specified shared folder, and users do not have permission to access each other:

Folder sharing Properties-- > Advanced sharing

Many people in the same department directly select the set group to add, and select the corresponding group and user name permissions.

Full control is the maximum permission, change, read is the required permission, depending on the requirement setting

Pit one: do not use sharing and advanced sharing at the same time, determine your needs, and then determine which permission file to use.
