Shulou(Shulou.com)06/03 Report--
Today, I installed a system for a colleague because it was pre-installed with win10, and a lot of software was not compatible enough to need to be installed into win7. However, both win8 and later system disk partitions are booted using gpt. If you want to use a lower version of the system, you have to change and modify the disk partition table again, but many third-party tools and pe can not manage disk changes very well. Then it is necessary to use Windows's own diskpart tool to manage the disk. It is well known that the database is the product based on the disk, then managing the disk is the same as the database. Diskpart is a command under the Windows environment. The normal operation of this command requires the support of system services, which are: Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service (dmadmin), Logical Disk Manager (dmserver), Plug and Play (PlugPlay), Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (RPCss). The dependencies of these four services are: dmserver depends on PlugPlay and RPCss,dmadmin/ depends on dmserver. If these four services are not running, then you cannot run diskpart successfully, so you cannot run this command under pure DOS, but you can run diskpart under WINPE. Now many ODM manufacturers use WINPE environment when installing the operating system, because it is convenient to operate on the hard disk under WINPE (the WINPE environment itself starts in memory).
Use diskpart in the command prompt window (that is, "cmd") to enter the diskpart interface. We get the following help information through help, and the instructions are case-insensitive:
ACTIVE-Mark the selected partition as the active partition. ADD-add a mirror to a simple volume. ASSIGN-assign a drive letter or mount point to the selected volume. ATTRIBUTES-manipulates volume or disk properties. ATTACH-Connect the virtual disk file. AUTOMOUNT-enables and disables automount of basic volumes. BREAK-interrupts the mirror set. CLEAN-clears configuration information or all information from disk. COMPACT-try to reduce the physical size of the file. CONVERT-convert between different disk formats. CREATE-create a volume, partition, or virtual disk. DELETE-deletes the object. DETAIL-provides object details. DETACH-detach the virtual disk file. EXIT-exit DiskPart. EXTEND-extends the volume. EXPAND-extends the maximum size available on the virtual disk. FILESYSTEMS-displays the current and supported file system FORMAT on the volume-formats the volume or partition GPT-assigns attributes to the selected GPT partition. HELP-displays a list of commands. IMPORT-Import the disk group. INACTIVE-Mark the selected partition as inactive. LIST-displays a list of objects. MERGE-merges the child disk with its parent disk. ONLINE-bring online objects currently marked offline. OFFLINE-take objects currently marked online offline. RECOVER-refreshes the status of all disks in the selected package. Try to recover the disks in the invalid package and resynchronize the mirrored and RAID5 volumes with obsolete clusters or parity data. REM-does not work. Used to annotate scripts. REMOVE-removes the drive letter or mount point assignment. REPAIR-repair a RAID-5 volume with failed members. RESCAN-rescan the computer for disks and volumes. RETAIN-place a reserved partition under a simple volume. SAN-displays or sets the SAN policy for the currently started operating system. SELECT-moves the focus to the object. SETID-change the partition type. SHRINK-reduces the selected volume. UNIQUEID-displays or sets the GUID partition table (GPT) identifier or master boot record (MBR) signature of the disk.
Such as:
DISKPART > list disk# check the list of disks DISKPART > select disk disks use the disk number 0. Note that if you use the disk and then list, the result is preceded by a * sign, that is, focus DISKPART > clean# clears all the information of the physical disk. It should be noted that all information, including partition information, is cleaned up here, so when using it, you should pay attention to DISKPART > convert mbr# converting the disk to mbr format # these are basic enough. If you find it troublesome, you can use a third-party tool to modify DISKPART > create partition primary size=30720# to create a 30GB primary partition. The unit of size here is MbDISKPART > active#. Set the previously created primary partition to the active partition DISKPART > format quick# Quick format DISKPART > create partition extended# to create all the remaining space as extended partition DISKPART > list partition# view partition list DISKPART > select partition partition using the number 1 partition. The focus DISKPART > create partition logical size=30720# above creates a logical partition of 30. Note that if you create a second one, the focus will automatically shift to DISKPART > delect partition# to delete the partition. Note here that this deletion is a partition on the current focus, so you need to adjust the focus before deleting it.
The basic general management is as above, it can be written as a script if necessary, and the use of other instructions can be checked through help, so I won't repeat it here.
