Normally, exchange should be installed to add and assign ResetPassword permissions to roles in the administrator role, and administrator users can reset other user passwords without any settings.

Failure phenomenon, login with administrator also does not have the option to reset password

Normally, the option to reset the mailbox password appears after opening the user properties

This customer has frequent metaphysical abnormalities and has been too lazy to find the cause. He has found the solution directly.

Enable Reset Password permissions

Execute the following three commands on Exchange Management shell

Add-pssnapin microsoft*

Install-CannedRbacRoles

Install-CannedRbacRoleAssignments restart Exchange Management shell and execute the following command to add permission to reset passwords for the Help Desk group, or to add permissions in the ecp console

New-ManagementRoleAssignment-SecurityGroup "Help Desk"-Role "Reset Password"

You can also directly find the specified role group in the ecp console without executing the command in item 2, and then add the permission of Reset Password.
