1. Host configuration

2. EMC storage configuration

The storage model is EMC-AX4. This time, the host and storage are directly connected through the fiber cable but not through the fiber switch. The default address of the EMC console is 192.168.1.1, which can be accessed through this IP address. The following is the specific configuration method:

2.1 log in to the console

Enter account number / password

2.4 create a host connection

The prerequisite for creating a CVM connection is that the fiber cable is connected to the storage, so that the EMC automatically recognizes the WWN number of the optical fiber, and the communication between the CVM and the storage is through the WWN number. The operating system must select STANDARD;NAME except AIX and HP-UX. The IP address should be entered correctly and can be seen in the SERVERS after creation.

2.5 create Virtual Disk

Virtual Disk is a disk recognized by the host, which can also be called LUN

Select Disk pool, set the name and size, and select the assigned host, or assign it through subsequent operations. Do not assign it here.

2.6 allocate disk

Assign the newly created test2 disk to the linux host

3.Linux recognizes disk

The disk identified by linux generally needs to restart the host, but it can also be identified by the following steps as follows:

1. First generate a LIP (Loop Initialization Protocol)
